    Interesting, and I agree some of it certainly falls in the “whiny” category.

    What I find interesting, however, is that usually the comments about “my own life” come from people in technical fields speaking about social sciences/humanities, etc… and then they point out all these huge problems in the world that, if anything, is only going to be fixed by gaining a better understanding of who we are as people and a culture, and who others are as well - exactly the sort of thing those courses teach.

    It’s interesting though. I do tend to agree the system is screwed, but I’m not quite sure what could replace it.

    Thank you so much for pointing out this video. While individuals may have contributed in a ‘whiny’ way, I must say that when you take this as a whole, it’s making a point rather than being whiny.

    I am very happy to have seen this video (and the other vid, as suggested by Gideon). Very useful.
