I haven’t heard the melodic tune of dial up in a long time. Scott2k should definitely continue.
To the blogging issue, since I’m running Student Bloggers I obviously am in favor of college kids blogging. I totally agree though about becoming a quality member of the community. The community aspect of Web 2.0 is really what makes it great.

I agree with you all, that all students should have a blog, as long as they want to take it seriously. I believe if you want to become the top in your field, you will need a blog. The internet is just too important to ignore, even if your major is not technology oriented.
This coming fall semester I am going to create a bloggers club at school, for students who want to blog professionally, any form of blogging that will improve their future careers. Hopefully the bloggers club on campus will create a GeoNetwork which can become a larger internet network.
By the way, I really liked the tags on the video! I didn’t know you could do that.
