College kids don't use twitter cause they already have facebook status. Its pretty similar and you don't have to set up an account or start over or anything. Having said that though I do think that twitter has a lot of growing room, but maybe not so much on college campuses as long facebook is big.
I definitely agree with that. I would actually predict that Twitter never catches on among the college and high school generation. Why would they switch to something if Facebook status updates do a good enough job?
I couldn't help but laugh and watch the bike stealing scene over and over again.
and what's this special "english fans" thing?
My say on twitter is that it only catches onto those who use many websites, not to those who just use facebook (like the many people i know.) All those people that just use facebook will never catch on, but those who use things like digg/reddit, watch podcasts and use other social networks are more exposed to twitter. I'm not sure if it will all of a sudden blow up, but word of mouth may catch on and more people find out about it.
I go to the University of Florida and I'm proud to go to such an amazing school, it may be a huge party school but at least we don't try to hide it rather we try to make sure people act responsibly and take care of themselves.
Another twitter picture site = twitpic.com
you send the picture to a specific twitpic email that is linked to your account and it twits a link to the picture! Simple and effective. I'll have to check out radar, but I'm enjoying twitpic
btw, I love twitter...its catching on and I like that it is, its a quick way to announce a problem or question that needs a solution and a quick way to announce a party that needs drinkers lol
Lovin the podcast fellas, keep the information flowin
