Single-serving websites are web sites comprised of a single page with a dedicated domain name that only do one thing. Most are dedicated to completely wacky and random things, like parisfacial.ytmnd.com, which shows through several different photos that Paris Hilton never changes facial expressions when taking pictures. Of course at HackCollege, we always try to focus on productivity and tips and tricks to make your life easier. With that, here are five of my favorite single-serving websites that are actually really handy!

1. isup.me/– Check if any URL is down for everyone or just you.

2. e.ggtimer.com/ – Set a quick timer via your browser for laundry, cooking, or napping.

3. doineedanumbrella.com/ – Punch in your zip code and see if you’ll need an umbrella today.

4. whatismyip.org/ – Lists your current IP address.

5. justflipacoin.com/ – For those times when you really can’t decide.
