The weeks leading up to finals suck. They’re stressful, they’re busy, you feel like drowning, and you barely make it out with your life, sanity, and GPA. One of the things that I think students have the hardest time doing during exam period is eating properly. Most students will survive on late night snacking or fast food so they can dedicate more time to studying. However, if you don’t eat properly you will actually feel worse and you’ll have a greater chance of getting sick. So concentrating on eating at least decent meals is important during your final week to keep you powering through your finals.

Salads are a yummy way to eat healthy, but sometimes they’re cumbersome to make and put together for an on the go lifestyle. However, Lifehacker has a great suggestion on how to make great salad that stays fresh that you can take to campus with you. If you have a spare half hour, take your favorite salad ingredients and layer them in a mason jar. If you take care to keep the dressing away salad by putting other ingredients in between them, your salad will stay fresh for days. When you’re ready to eat it, just shake it up or pour it into a bowl.
