General Information About Brio Academy of Cosmetology-Meriden
The Brio Academy teaches a comprehensive course of Hairdressing and Cosmetology approved by the State of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This course includes, but is not limited to the following: Facial Massage Bleaching Hair Coloring Haircutting Hairstyling Physiology Salesmanship Shampooing Nuts & Bolts Professional Business Training Manicuring Scalp Treatment Finger Waving Permanent Waving Cosmetic Chemistry Anatomy Sanitation Hygiene Student Requirements: 17 years of age and GED/High School Diploma are required for completion. State of Connecticut: Upon successful completion of this course and after passing a State Board Exam, you will be qualified as a new Licensed Hairdresser/Cosmetologist/Barber in the state of Connecticut. Commonwealth of Massachusetts: Upon successful completion a course in Cosmetology, Esthetics or Nail Technology, pass the written and practical state exam, you will be qualified for a license in your course of study.
