General Information About Miami Ad School
What makes you different from other schools? Everything. Well, of course, there are now some copycat schools, but they're always running behind us. We innovate and they try to duplicate. Remember, the founder of this school, Ron Seichrist, invented the concept of "ad schools" way back in 1978 and has lead every innovative concept in advertising since. For example; the first to team art director and copywriter graduate teams to as agencies, the first school to offer account planning, the first school to develop a global network where students can study on intern in just about every major advertising capital in the world, and now the first school to develop partnerships with the industry. These partnerships range from actual space within an ad agency for the school, to writing new curriculum and developing new programs. Out partnership with Saatachi in London, Lowe in Stockholm, and Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis are examples of the school within the agency space. Our partnership with Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami (the agency that won global agency of the year 3 out of the last 4 years) gives us access to the very people who have changed advertising. They're writing our curriculum and teaching our classes. These partnerships also extend beyond the as agency to the client side as well. Yahoo! Has developed a course in on-line advertising for us and each term gives scholarships to the students with the best ideas. We're different from other school because we're leading the way.
