WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENT OF PRODUCTS, THE FIELD IS EVER-CHANGING AND CONSTANTLY BEING UPGRADED. THE WELL-TRAINED PROFESSIONAL COSMETOLOGIST OF TODAY HAS OPEN TO HER/HIM A WIDER RANGE OF OPPORTUNITY THAN EVER BEFORE.THE BASIC COSMETOLOGY COURSE OFFERED BY THE SCHOOL IS DESIGNED TO PREPARE THE STUDENTTO TAKE THE KENTUCKY BOARD OF HAIRDRESSERS AND COSMETOLOGISTS APPRENTICE COSMETOLOGISTS EXAMINATION. UPON THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE SIX MONTHS APPRENTICESHIP UNDER A LICENSED OPERATOR, THE STUDENT IS PREPARED FOR A CAREER A A PERMANENT WAVE TECHNICIAN, HAIR COLORIST, MANICURIST, MAKE-UP ARTIST, HAIR STRAIGHTENING TECHNICIAN, HAIR AND SCALP SPECIALIST, HAIRSTYLIST AND SKIN CARE SPECIALIST. THE TEACHER TRAINING COURSE OFFERED BY THE SCHOOL IS DESIGNED TO PREPARE THE APPRENTICE INSTRUCTOR TO TAKE THE KENTUCKY BOARD OF HAIRDRESSERS AND COSMETOLOGIST INSTRUCTOR EXAMINATION. UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE EEXAM, THE TEACHER IS PREPARED FOR A CAREER AS A TEACHER OF COSMETOLOGY, TRAINER OF TEACHERS, OWNER OR DIRECTOR OF A PRIVATE SCHOOL, OF STATE BOARD MEMBER.
