General Information About Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing & Allied Health Nebraska Methodist College, located in Omaha, Nebraska and an affiliate of Methodist Health System, is a premier private health professions institution that has offered a caring, close-knit community to its students since it was established in 1891. With an enrollment of more than 700 students, NMC is small enough to really care about each student as an individual and large enough to provide outstanding undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs in nursing and allied health. NMC students experience a holistic culture of caring while mastering the art and science of health care. They gain the skills and experience needed to become outstanding contributors to society through service-learning experiences, community-based education, and leadership development integrated throughout the curriculum. “Choosing the right college was a huge decision for me,” explains a third-year student. “I’m so glad I came to Nebraska Methodist College. I’m a better person and I’ll be a better health care professional thanks to the people, programs, and culture here. The teachers really care about me, and they’re teaching me how to care for others.
