General Information About Accelerated Dental Assisting School of America Our mission extends beyond merely helping you to gain knowledge and skills – our goal is to provide you with the training and experience you will need to develop a highly satisfying career in dentistry and the healthcare field. We have created the ADASA program to mirror our enthusiasm and belief that your work as a Dental Assistant, as part of a professional dental health team, provides an important and positive impact on the health, self-image, and lives of the patients you will work with everyday in professional practice. ADASA’s distinguished staff includes director Dr. Walter E. Gay, Jr., DDS, FAGD, whose passion and practice is putting every patient On Course For a Lifetime Smile™, Rhonda Gibson, our Educational Director, and clinical instructors Amy Fortman, Mandie Gibson, and Lauren Foster. They love what they do and have dedicated themselves to the ADASA program to provide you with a solid foundation for long-term career development. The ADASA classroom setting is unique and practical. Divided equally between lecture and hands-on training, each student spends half of the course instruction learning in a modern dental office! This introduces you to the actual environment in which you will work in your future career. In addition to learning about the equipment, procedures, and business workings of a dental office, you will also learn about the human anatomy, along with the vocabulary, terminology, and skills you will need to start work as a knowledgeable, trained, and competent dental assistant – in less than three months! There is a tremendous opportunity for you to learn and develop a new career in just a few short months – a career that is exciting and provides plenty of opportunity for personal growth and experience. Dentistry is an ever-expanding field in the healthcare industry. We look forward to introducing you to your new career!
