General Information About Everest Institute-Tigard Our Tigard, Oregon campus offers short-term career training and will help you understand critical concepts quickly and easily. Through our programs, you will gain the training and life skills that are needed to excel in high demand career fields. You will have the chance to put the skills you have acquired to work by practicing in a real-world environment. Our campus is conveniently located in the Plaza West Building just off of Highway 217, a block south of the Washington Square mall. The campus has spacious classrooms, lab rooms, student lounge, administrative areas, and a student massage clinic. Tigard is 10 miles southwest of Portland, Oregon. Downtown Tigard is home to quaint antique shops, espresso bars, and fashionable eateries that line Main Street. Side streets are sites of community facilities and activities including the Tigard Civic Center, fire station and many retail and service businesses. Nearby Portland is home to the professional sports teams of the Portland Trail Blazers, Portland Timbers, and the Portland Beavers.
