Virginia College School of Business and Health will hold an Open House event on Thursday, September 20 from 3PM until 7PM to celebrate the school’s one-year anniversary in Chattanooga. Prospective students, area employers and those seeking employment with Virginia College who are interested in seeing the school’s facilities, labs and classrooms are welcome to attend. “We’ve had an extremely successful first year and are proud to be a part of the Chattanooga business community,” says Campus President Kane Walls. About Virginia College School of Business and Health Virginia College School of Business and Health offers diploma and associate’s degree programs in areas such as accounting, office management, computer drafting, medical assisting, medical coding, pharmacy technician, criminal justice and therapeutic massage. The school also offers bachelor’s degrees in business administration, healthcare services management, and criminal justice. This gives students with existing college credits but no degree—or those who may have acquired an associate’s degree—an opportunity to apply that earned credit and work toward a bachelor’s degree. Virginia College specializes in career programs for which the greatest job demand is expected. The school offers flexible class schedules, small class sizes, and instructors with in-the-field experience. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Students may also take advantage of lifetime career placement assistance. Employers who hire Virginia College graduates are given a guarantee of student competency. If the student does not display the skills that he or she successfully demonstrated in class, the student may return to school and re-take the class at no additional charge. Some limitations apply.
