Facebook Applications: Initial Thoughts

Everyone woke up yesterday to the fruition of the new Facebook Platform and all of its related third-party applications. For those that missed the boat, this is a big deal and it seems cool. It’s like buying third-party gadgets for your iPod, except you put them inside. Let’s face it, no one likes an iPod ...

Mysterious “Facebook Platform”

According to the Facebook Blog, the illustrious site will unveil some sort of new “Facebook Platform.” The new platform allows developers to essentially reprogram Facebook, not a luxury that most companies award to their users. Facebook: “Marketplace”

Well, Oodle Classifieds was #1 for about 5 minutes. Facebook now has its own “Marketplace”. Login, and you’ll see it. I mean, everybody is talking about it. So unless Oodle decides to give away free beer, I’m going to have to free up that slot in my Top 30 Facebook Groups

I nearly laughed out loud when reading this headline on digg. I’m not quite sure why. Perhaps it’s because it’s so true and everyone who uses Facebook knows it. The actual article tells the story of a man who spent on average 4 hours each day surfing Facebook. I’m not that bad… I hope. Link ...

Money CAN Buy Friends

A “friend” recommended me this site earlier today. They said I should try to look more popular by having people write posts on my wall, specifically hot females. I asked my friend, “How on Earth would I go about doing that? I don’t talk to girls!” He then pointed me to FakeYourSpace. With FakeYourSpace, you ...

Top 5 Facebook Plug-ins

A few weeks ago, Facebook released their own API for their site. (For those non-nerds and people that see the sun out there, the API just lets users write programs for Facebook.) To see all of these nifty plug-ins, click on the “developers” link on the bottom of any Facebook page then click on the ...
