General Information About Georgia Institute of Cosmetology The mission of the Georgia Institute of Cosmetology is to train its students for the fast rising demand for qualified cosmetologist. Our desire is to supply the community with well-rounded cosmetologist that can perform at any level, and is competent in all areas of cosmetology. The primary objective fo GIC is to help develop effective communicational skills as well as the discipline and moral values needed to be successful in today's working enviroment. The institute will prepare the student for the cosmetology profession be helping to develop the finger and hand dexterity, cordination,and strength needed for the manual manipulation of this profession. The students will be prepared to enter into a salon as a salon level stylist, a makeup artist, esthetician, nail and many other related areas of cosmetology. The institutes students will be provided with skills necessary to pursue a successful career
