    Our-mission is to be the leading school for training entry-leVel court reporters, stenomask reporters, paralegals, legal secretaties, medical ofEce specialists, medical assistants, and computer office administrators for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The educational objective of the Court Reporting and Court Reporting Stenomask Reporter programs is to prepare the student for an entry-level position as a court reporter, closed captionist, or CART reporter by developing his or her machine shorthand or Stenomask speed to 225 words per minute. The educational objective of the Paralegal./kgal Assistant program is to prepare the student for an entry-level position as a paralegal/legal assistant in an attorney's office, govemmental agency, corporate office, or other legal entity. The educational objective of the kgal Secretary program is to prepare the student for an entry-level position as a secrctary in the business or legal fields. The educational objective of the Medical Office Specialiot pro$am is to prepare the student for an entry-level position as a medical office specialist in a medical office, hospital, clinic, or other rclated workplace setting. The educational objective of the Computerized OfEce Administration program is to prgvide students with general offrce skills and business administration skills using computer knowledge and software applications and to prepare them for an entry-level position as a computer operator, secretary, administrative assistant, data-entry clerk, or customer service representative in both public and private sector work settings and include, but are not limited to, telecommunications companies, financial institutions, computer companies, schools, hospitals, doctors' ofFrceS/clinics, transportation companies, property management companies, records retrievaVstorage companies, and oiVgas companies. The educational objective of the Medical Assistant program is to piepare the student for an entry-level position as a medical assistant or related position in a medical offrce, hospital, clinic, or other related medical wor$lace settings. There is a high demand for court reporters nationwide, as there is for legal secretaries and paralegals to aid the lawyers and the courts. Paralegals are a necessity for law fimrs, and ACI is filling that need. Medical office specialists and medical assistants are in high demand to assist busy medical professionals with the many regulatory forms involving Medicare and Medicaid requirements and with patient care. I-egal secretaries are essential to the administration of law offices and are also in very high demand. Computer ofEce administrators take their place throughout the business community as administrative aides. In surnmary, our mission is to take untrained, unskilled people and transfonn them into skilled, entry-level workers and taxpaying citizens who are capable of contributing to the commudty in which they live.
